Danielle's Daily Food & Fitness Journal

2 Workouts Down.....

I have a long way to go, but let me tell you how good it feel to do cardiovascular activity. The stair climber is the best option for me right now. If I keep my posture nice and straight and I don't hold onto the handles, I can walk smoothly for 45 minutes to an hour. My ability to strength train is limited, but I can use my biceps, triceps and shoulders without upsetting my incisions (affected areas). Tomorrow I plan to incorporate non-weighted lunges and squats into my routine. I don't want to feel crippled, when I finally have a chance to resume my full strength training routines.

I'm very grateful for my time at the Cape. It's a nice change of scenery and it gives me an opportunity to rest, enjoy the sun and workout in peace. The SUN is so motivating. I spent almost a week in my daughters room. It was a nice little retreat, but I'm happier outside.

I'm feeling extremely motivated since my surgery. I plan to schedule a new photo shoot during the first weeks of September. This means that I will really have to be CLEAN-eating. I haven't had a drink of alcohol in 15 days and I am feeling really good. If someone really wants to get lean - Alcohol cannot be in the picture at all. My willpower is at an all-time high. I'm enjoying whole foods, especially fruits and vegetables.

I look forward to sharing my progress with you weekly. Take care of your body, if you don't NOBODY will!
