Own Your Choices
If you really want to know what — and how much — you're eating, keep track of it in your Food Log or write it down in a notebook. Keeping a food log makes you think about what you're eating three times: First, when you eat it; second, when you record it; and third, when you read it over later on. Writing down what you eat gives you a sense of ownership over your actions; plus, it provides you with a record of how you've been doing. Seeing your progress will inspire you to keep up with the 5-Factor Diet! So grab a pen and paper and start writing!

Eat Consciously
If you're serious about losing weight, you need to become a conscious eater. Keeping a food diary will help you with that, but there's another important tip you should put into practice: Always eat from a plate while you're sitting down. Never eat directly from a package or container — it's just way too tempting to keep putting your hand back in. www.5factordiet.com
