Get It in Writing

Does the weekend present a weekly challenge to your diet? With all-day access to the fridge and dinners and drinks with friends — not to mention Sunday brunches — it's hard to resist temptation. There is a way to fight the urge to splurge: Write it all down. If you keep a food log — including what and how much you eat and drink — you'll be less inclined to reach for treats throughout the weekend. Seeing everything you eat in front of you might give you pause — as will stopping to write it all down in the first place.
