
One Week Recovery Summary:
Yikes! I finally got an opportunity to sweat for 45 minutes yesterday. My surgery was a week ago yesterday, I celebrated by pumping up the tunes and walking the stair climber. It was totally safe and affective. There was barely any movement from my hips up. For the next 15 minutes, I worked my upper body with 3 sets of (15): biceps curls, triceps kickbacks and front/lateral raises. There was no pain and no incisions affected.
Today I plan to do the same, possibly increasing my Stair climber time. Believe me, I listen to my body, I never overdo it. When I tore my ACL a year and half ago, I managed my recovery in the same way. My theory, work what doesn't hurt. Progress, not perfection and Consistency is the key.
NO EXCUSES, not to do what you can!!
