Are You a Cardio Queen?
With all the myths circulating on the web these days, it is easy to think cardio is the way to go when it comes to fat loss. If your ultimate fitness goal is weight loss, you should be incorporating muscle building as well as a cardio into your exercise regime.

We inherit either a fast or slow-moving metabolism. Lucky ladies and gents under 30 tend to have a higher basal metabolic rate (BMR), which indicates the number of calories burned just maintaining our bodily functions. But you can increase your metabolic rate by altering what you eat and what you do.

One of the more effective ways to do this is, of course, to Eat Clean. But a second and often neglected strategy is to build muscle! Not only does resistance training increase your metabolism while you do it, extra muscle burns tons of energy, even when you’re doing nothing. If you’re worried about “bulking up,” don’t. Women just aren’t biologically hard-wired that way. So load on the pounds and lift to lose weight! Build your confidence, boost your energy and increase your metabolism by adding some muscle-building sessions to your weekly routine. Aim to train each body part two or three times a week with compound exercises, and watch your metabolism soar! www.eatcleandiet.com
