Check Your Portions

It's important to order the right foods in restaurants, but it's also important to order the right amount of food, period. Healthy food can get pretty unhealthy if you eat too much of it. Stick to controlled amounts that correspond with the diet's plate percentages (usually 25 percent each of protein, whole grain, fruit, and vegetables) and you'll have no problem taking The Sonoma Diet out of your kitchen.
