If you're following the South Beach Diet, you already know that you don't count calories, fat grams, carbohydrates, or anything else. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't pay attention to theNutrition Facts label on packaging. If you have a hard time making heads or tails of food labels, take our cheat sheet with you the next time you hit the grocery store.


Doctors now have the diagnostic tools to detectcardiovascular disease in its earliest stages, years if not decades before a heart attack or stroke occurs. Unfortunately, too few people are taking advantage of these tools.
