Danielle's Daily Food & Fitness Journal


Hump Day! A perfect day to get off your hump and try my free class. I'll be at the gym at 6:00am and 7:00am, hoping that someone will be there to train. A reminder, I will also be at the gym Saturday morning at 8:00am for the last free class, before the new session begins on Monday. Have you used weights this year? Remember, you can lose up to a 1/2 lb. of muscle in a year, if you fail to resistance train on a regular basis. Consequences? You're metabolic rate goes down and you burn less calories while resting. Just do it! I'll be back around NOON, I'm busy today.

Danielle's food journal:
Breakfast: whole wheat english muffin, 1 tbsp peanut butter - 210 calories. (pre-workout)
Snack: 100 calories South Beach cereal bar (post-workout)
Lunch: baked chicken breast, 2 tbsp. Hunt's diced tomatoes, 1/2c. Success 1 minute brown rice, 1 & 1/2 c. Fresh express veggie lovers salad mix, 10 squirts Wishbone spritzer - 320 calories.
Snack: granny smith apple, 1/2c. low fat cottage cheese - 160 calories.
Lunch:

1. 60 min. Functional Training Class - 6:00am is HOT!
2. 60 min. Functional Training Class - 7:00am was GREAT!
* over did it today, my knee is a little sore. Resting, while icing, watching the Celtics.
