Harley's Daily Challenge

Time for a Change
Imagine that you had to eat the same dinner every night of the week; after a few days you'd really start to get sick of it. The same thing happens to your body when you engage in the exact same workout time after time. Making subtle changes to your exercise routine can help your body build more muscle and lose weight more quickly, because it's unaccustomed to the new program. Always use a treadmill for your five-minute warm-up? Try jumping rope or running up and down a flight of stairs instead; or try another piece of cardio equipment, like an elliptical machine. Sometimes even changing the order of things helps, so try doing the second exercise in your series first. Challenge yourself to keep finding new ways to surprise yourself.

Weight a Minute
You might want to try a simple change that can help you burn calories even faster. Little weight bracelets are easy to wear — and they're safer than ankle weights. Walk the same walk, but know that your wrists are now working for you, too! Adding weights will help you get leaner and stronger faster. Who knew a simple accessory could move you closer to your goal?

DANIELLE'S COMMENTS: Never doing the same workout twice is what I love about the FUNCTIONAL TRAINING concept. Let me create the workout for you, YOU just have to show up and do it. Getting your ass kicked with music and a few others helps!!
