You Can Take It With You
Some people make excuses as to why they can't eat healthy snacks during the day. Maybe they work in the field, or there's no kitchen at the office, or they think they're too busy to prepare these between-meal stopovers. It is a challenge to adjust your eating habits, but there's an easy solution: ready-to-drink shakes. Not only do they have a great mixture of proteins, carbs, and healthy fats — as well as the right number of calories — to get you through the day, but they're also packed with vitamins and minerals. The only thing they're missing is fiber, so be sure to have a piece of fruit or some veggies with them. It's super-easy to throw a can and an apple into your workbag in the morning, so no more excuses for skipping meals or snacks!
'Twas the Night Before
If you're always running late in the mornings, make it a habit to set aside snacks for yourself the night before. Sometimes it's easier to do something on your way to bed than on your way to work. If you're feeling really ambitious, use Sunday evening as a time to plan for the week: Take the veggies you bought that weekend and divvy them up into little grab bags so all your snack prep is done.
